Houston's Favorite Rock and Roll
Rat Ranch is a full on party/rock band from the Houston, TX area that plays 200 shows a year. They entertain thousands of people every week in clubs across Texas and also do occasional private functions. Guitarist and vocalist Kent Newman founded Rat Ranch in 1989, with the band going through a few personnel changes along the way...performing everywhere from Florida to Alaska. Rat Ranch has released three original CDs...'TALES' (1997), 'TOO MANY SHOES' (1999), and 'CLEAR' (2001). All of the tracks are available for download on the Music Page. Rounding out the current lineup are guitarist and vocalist Brett Axelson, drummer Rick Valadez, and bassist and vocalist Scott Madigan. The Rat Ranch show is a rock concert atmosphere with state of the art sound and lights as well as four great performers putting their hearts into what they do. Classic rock favorites, modern country, current radio hits and everything in between are presented with maximum impact and rock concert-like energy.
